After a successful run on Hubbard Street, celebrity hairstylist George Gonzalez is proud to announce the new home of George the salon at the corner of Oak and Rush (945 N. Rush) in Chicago's  Gold Coast neighborhood. Their River North location is permanently closed as the brand moves into this 3,300 SF space on the 3rd floor next to Vera Wang. The building is also shared by tenants Hermès and Suit Supply. Besides being a full service hair salon for all cutting, coloring and styling needs, George the salon is expanding their service menu, now offering facials and waxing services.

"Opening this salon has been the most challenging event in my professional career, but the results so far are so incredible," explains owner George Gonzalez. "There were times I just wanted to quit, but I couldn't. Once you start a project like that, there's no going back. I still do not know what the future holds for me and my team, but I am so excited to find out. Accomplishing this project makes me believe in myself more. That all the stuff I say to people and to myself about working hard, setting goals and patiently moving forward with a positive attitude has some merit. Even though we've been in business for 7 years, I feel like being in this amazing location will allow more people to experience our salon. I am proud to share with Chicago my vision of what a hair salon should be like."
