In case you missed it, Pantone's 2015 color of the year is marsala, and we can't get enough of it! The hue is very nearly universally appealing and has been spotted across the beauty board.

Andrea Neira, stylist at Di Rosa Haircare in New York, has been as excited about the hue as we are, and she waited for just the right guest to be in her chair before diving into a marsala formula. After a thorough consultation, Neira and her client decided to go for a new cut to complement the rich, edgy color. Take a look at the formula below.

GET THE COLOR: MARSALA

STEP 1: Apply Goldwell Topchic Professional Hair Color 20ml 20vol 20ml 5n 20ml 5va to roots.

STEP 2: Spray with Goldwell Colorglow IQ Structure Equalizer Spray to even out porosity of hair. Apply Goldwell Colorance 40ml Core Lotion 10ml 5vv 5ml 6r 5ml vv mix to ends.

STEP 3: Rinse and towel-dry.

STEP 4: The hair was previously lightened, so Neira finished with Goldwell Elumen Hair Color glaze in clear to impart shine and nourishing benefits.
