Galina Mrochko (@galinamg), a master stylist at Mane Chicago, Chicago, was thrilled that first time client Brook found her on Yelp.

"She acknowledged she couldn't walk around like that anymore," says Mrochko. "This was an old, grown out ombre that had gone yellow and brassy. She is a natural level 4 with level 8 ombre ends. It was a bit of disaster." Mrochko and Brook decided to update her color, going for an icy, frosty blonde with a little extra ash at the root. "I allow the roots to process a bit longer to grab a bit deeper. It's a bit more contemporary."

Here Mrochko shares the HOW TO for this dramatic color correction:

Step 1: To the root area apply Wella Soft Blonde Blondor with 40 volume developer plus Olaplex.

Step 2: To mid shaft apply Schwarzkopf  Igora Vario Blond 40vol (igora oil developer)+ Olaplex.

Step 3: To lighter ends apply  Wella Soft Blonde Blondor +30volume +Olaplex. Process for 40 minutes.

Step 4: Apply Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 12-2 special blonde ash + 30 volume Igora oil developer + Olaplex from the roots, pulling through to the ends.

Step 5: Process for 40 minutes and follow up with Olaplex stage two treatment, Rinse and blow dry.
