Amber Mahaffey (@tatted_blondeee) of Myrtle Beach, SC, says "My favorite things to do are transformations that involve rich color!" Well, she got that opportunity with this client looking to go a deep, rich red. Here she shares the HOW TO:
STEP 1: To the root area apply Pravana 1 oz 6N 1/2 6gv dot 5 N ("to make a natural root,") using a color melting technique. Process for 25 minutes. Shampoo and blow dry.
STEP 2: Apply Pravana 7.45 2 oz 1 oz 7c (blended with Olaplex) using a color melting technique, rotating horizontal sections from midshaft and ends.
STEP 3: Apply equal parts Pravana 7.43 1 oz 8.45, continuing to rotate. Process for 25 minutes under heat. Rinse and shampoo.
STEP 4: Gloss with Redken Shades EQ 8c.
