Kaitlin Yankos (@studiobhairdesigns) of Studio B Hair Design, Cronulla NSW Australia, has not taken her intense training for granted. "Our salon has a great following on social media which results in being booked out constantly," she says. "What makes us different is that we train constantly attending every show, seminar and having private lessons with any top stylist we can get our hands on. This has given me the confidence to try new techniques and stay on trend at all times which my clients love. I always have something new to share and it keeps things exciting constantly. This shines through with the passion that I have for my job. My clients really appreciate that I take the time to restyle them on every visit. They look different all year round with the change of every season which keeps them coming back. Having the BEST products to work with also makes my job a whole lot easier. I know my clients color will be maintained at home."

Here Kaitlin shares the color how to for this client who is "in the music industry so the silver tone and sharp edgy look means she really looks the part!":

Step 1: Place micro foils (very fine weaves) in back to back sections throughout the hair using Lakme K Blonde Powder lightener and 30 volume developer, plus Olaplex, on the roots.

Step 2: Process for 40 minutes. Rinse and shampoo.

Step 3: Tone with 3/4 Lakme K Blonde Silver, 1/4 10 volume gloss plus Olaplex no. 2. Process for 10 minutes at the basin.
