Jon Alexander Frawley (@jonnystylez), a color and balayage specialist at Bangz Salon and Wellness Spa, Montclair, New Jersey, introduced this level 3/4 virgin haired client to color by adding some balayage highlights which added a little sass to the ends.

Here he shares the how to:

Step 1: Apply balayage highlights in diagonal sections using Wella Freelights with 20 volume at the midshaft and 40 volume on the ends.

Step 2: Process for 30 minutes and then shampoo.

Step 3: Tone with Logics 8B for 10 minutes. Rinse and style.
