Formula How-To: Glossy Espresso by Eufora

Victoria Wurdinger | October 16, 2015 | 12:55 PM

A Color Gloss treatment brings out the healthy shine in fading tones and seals the cuticle transparently so rich, vibrant color and natural-looking tones shine through.

FORMULAS & APPLICATION:

Natural level 4 with regrowth, previous highlights and level-5 mid-shaft/ends.

Formula 1: 100 ml EuforaColor 5.0 (Light Natural Brown) + 1 g Violet Intensifier with 200 ml 7-volume Universal Cream Developer (or, a 1:2 ratio, based on hair length)

Formula 2: Low Ammonia Clear Boost with 30-volume Universal Cream Developer in a 1:2 ratio

Formula 3: No Ammonia Clear Dilute with 7-volume Universal Cream Developer in a 1:2 ratio

1. Apply Formula 1 to the new growth and process 10 minutes. Then pull through to the ends for an additional 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

2. Apply Formula 2 in randomly placed foils to create soft, dimensional highlights with no demarcation. (Low Ammonia Clear Boost lifts through previous color, on tone, 1-to-1.5 levels.) Process up to 50 minutes until desired lift is achieved. Remove foils and rinse well.

3. Apply Formula 3 all over and process for 10 minutes before rinsing. Shampoo and condition. Finish with ElixirONE to restore strength, smooth the cuticle and improve shine.
