Redken Certified Colorist and PureArtist Toni Fountain, who works at Indulgence, The Salon, of Lakewood, California, had a tough challenge at hand when her client walked in the door and requested a major change. One look at her "before" picture and it's clear--change was certainly in order! (Let's save the fried greens for tomatoes!).
Here's her process for fixing up her client!
Formula 1: 30-volume developer with Redken Blonde Dimensions lightener
Formula 2: Redken Chromatics 4VR and 15V
Formula 3: Equal parts Redken Shades EQ 06WG and 06AA
Formula 4: Redken Shades EQ 1.25 oz of 03RV + .25 oz of violet kicker + .5 oz Clear
Step 1: Apply Formula 1 to zones two and three, and follow with a Redken Chemistry Extreme conditioning treatment.
Step 2: At zone 1, apply Formula 2.
Step 3: As a filler, apply Formula 3 to the pre-lightened hair.
Step 4: As a final glaze, apply Formula 4 to the full head.
