UCLA has made audio meditation guidance available as free online podcasts ready to play on the UCLA website and also available for downloading free from iTunes. Ranging in length from 5 to 19 minutes, the eight topics are:

  • Breathing
  • Breath/sound/body
  • Complete meditation
  • Working through difficulties
  • Loving kindness
  • Body/sound
  • Body scan for meditating
  • Body scan for sleep

In addition, four sessions are available in Spanish.

 

Thanks to Healthy Hairdresser guru Mary Beth Janssen for letting us know about these. A longtime proponent of meditation, Janssen says that salon professionals can benefit greatly from meditating.
