Body, Spirit, Business: New Year’s 2016 Resolutions for the Healthy Hairdresser

What will you do to make 2016 a fabulous year for yourself? Of course we have some suggestions! Don’t tackle everything, but choose one or two things in each category to make yourself a healthier hairdresser this year.

 

BODY

Join a gym

or

Download a workout app

or

Start using that Fitbit you got for Christmas

Stretch your wrists, shoulders, legs and back every day

and

Check in with your posture as you work

and

Commit to comfortable shoes

Add 2 vegetables to each day’s meals

or

Double your water intake

or

Switch from white bread/pasta to whole grain

Make an appointment for a physical

and 

Book two dental visits for the year

and

Get any eye exam, full body skin check, mammogram, colonoscopy or other test you put off last year
