The Valley Girls Collection was a concept created by Callum Standen and the creative team at The Egg Salons. The ethos of the collection was to capture an essence of minimal beauty that was inviting and pleasing to the eye.

The name Valley Girls was created as influences of the collection were spun from an image of '70s socialites lounging poolside in the Californian valleys drinking cocktails. Another strong influence in the creation of the collection were the black and white stills of Studio 54 snapping icons such as Jerry Hall, Grace Jones, Debbie Harry and Liza Minnelli to name just a few.

Rather than making the collection period-based, it was modernized with an idealism of beauty. No fuss, no hardness or shock value, but a soft radiance of grace that can be appreciated by everyone, says Callum.

Living in a society that is based on drama, Callum wanted to create a collection that could be acknowledged as timeless, decadent and alluring.
