Pink About It: Fashion Color Formula

Anne Moratto | February 24, 2016 | 2:50 PM

Kalen Keele (@colorbykalen) is a balayage and color specialist in Lehi, UT.  The shining pink she achieved for her guest caught our eye on her Instagram page. It's a bright example of "fashion colors" and the end result is so obviously not out-of-the-box.

PROCESS:

Starting Level 10 Blonde

STEP ONE: "I prelightened her using Joico Verolights 20 volume and Olaplex and got her to a pale level 12.  No toners, only purple shampoo."

FORMULAS:  Schwarzkopf Pearlescence 6-89 and 9.5-29 on the roots and BlondeMe Toning Cream Ice and Lilac on midlengths and ends.
