Earlier today during Paris Fashion Week, it-girl Kendall Jenner opened (and closed) the Balmain show, which is led by designer and member of the Kardashian "krew", Olivier Rousteing. But something was different about the usual striking, black-haired Jenner. She was a rooty, bright platinum blonde!

And Jenner wasn't the only model who donned a new 'do at the show. In fact, most of the models rocked haircolors the opposite of their normal.

Hairstylist Sam McKnight styled hairpieces for the models to purposely contrast their usual color. Social media immediately exploded in awe after the audience saw top models like they haven't seen them before.

“Olivier wanted to create a surprise,” McKnight told Vogue. “Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s a brunette, Alessandra [Ambrosio]’s a blonde. It’s that Balmain cool girl...with a twist.”

The Vogue  article goes on to say: "From a quick survey of the scene backstage, the Balmain designer may be about to set off a fresh wave of surprise industry hair switch-ups. 'Rosie, you look so good!' cried Hadid. 'It’s not the first time I’m brunette,' admitted Huntington-Whiteley of her lesser-known hair past. Nearby, Ambrosio turned her head back and forth to admire her sunny new color—until she caught sight of her newly raven-haired friend Lily Donaldson. 'Wow! The brunettes look amazing!' she cried with genuine excitement."

Last year, Kim Kardashian debuted icey platinum hair during Paris Fashion Week. Inspired by this, it's safe to say that after his Balmain presentation, Rousteing #BrokeTheInternet as well.
