Wendy Bond, Artistic Director of Lakme, is one of the most creative colorists and best educators in the industry.

Earlier today MODERN stopped by and held a very successful PERISCOPE with her while she was "playing around" in the Depasquale Salon Systems headquarters in Fair Lawn, NJ. While the 605 live viewers were fascinated with the technique and process, many also requested to see the result.  Well, here it is!

Color formula for Warm Cherry Wood tone:

-Root color: Lakme Collage Tone 7 level  Mahogany 7/50 30g mixed with Collage Hydrox Developer 20 vol  45 g (timing: 30 minutes)

-Mids and ends color blancing: Lakme Gloss color Tone 7/copper Red 7/49  20g mixed with Gloss Developing  Long lasting 6 Vol 40g Tone 7 level  Mahogany Red, plus red 7/50 20g  0/09 red mix  5g mixed with Gloss Developing  Long lasting 6 Vol  50g (timing: mids and last 15 minutes)
