Brenda Hendricks (@brenda_hendricks_muahbb), a hairstylist & make up artist at SJ Studio Salon and Spa, Oxnard, CA, demonstrated a successful journey to bombshell blonde.

Here she shares the HOW TO:

"My client came to me after two failed attempts at an ombre/balayage. She had bleached hair to the root from behind the ear at the occipital bone down to the nape. At the crown they kept her natural hair and bleached the ends. I processed her hair a total of four times to achieve the blonde she has now."

Session 1 - November 2015: Apply babylights using Wella Blondor 30 volume 1:1.5. Tone with Wella Illumina 7/81 and 10 volume 1:1. "My main goal at the first appointment was to break up the harsh line and tone out all the yellow."

Sessions 2 and 3 - January & February 2016: Balayage with Wella Freelights 1:1.5 40 volume to the root. Tone with Wella Illumina 7/81 10 volume 1:1.

Session 4 (final) - March 2016: Apply babylights with Wella Blondor 30 volume 1:1.5. Balayage the ends in between foils with Wella Blondor 13 volume 1:1.5. Tone with Illumina 7/81 40grams 8/69 80grams 120grams of 10 volume.
