WATCH THIS: Easy Knotted Curly Updo by @TheConfessionsofaHairstylist

Lauren Salapatek | October 31, 2016 | 2:51 AM

This updo only takes a few mintues to create! This benefits you two ways - first, your client will love their finished look, and second, it gives you more time to fit in more clients! It's a win-win!

Confessions of a Hairstylist's Jenny Strebe (@theconfessionsofahairstylist) shows you how it's done!

First, she says that prior to getting started, you want to add a lot of texture to your client's hair for added volume. Strebe uses Kenra's Thermal Styling Spray all over the hair and then section by section uses a 1-inch curling iron to curl her client's entire head. Then, afterwards, she gets to the juicy part - the actual knotted updo! Try this elegant look for wedding or prom hairstyles - it can be achieved on long or medium-haired clients.
