TRANSFORMATION: Almost Virgin To Super Blonde

Maggie Mulhern | May 13, 2016 | 7:30 PM

Taylor Waldrep ( @temptresstay) of Heaven The Salon Experience, Winchester, VA (@heavensalon) says this client with level 5 client with grown out highlights was ready to go super blonde.

Here Walderp shares the how-to:

Step 1: Using Paul Mitchell Synchrolift, start with 20 volume, building to 30 volume (all blended with Olaplex).  Apply using the platinum card technique (color applied in back to back foils with lightener applied from off root to ends. Once completely applied, return to each foil and bring color to root.)

Step 2: Lift to pale yellow and then rinse and shampoo.

Step 3: Tone with Paul Mitchell The Color UTP with a ribbon of UTNB and 10 volume developer.

Step 4: Process for 10 minutes and then rinse.

So with protection and hair health being the two key benefits of the additive, she was all in.
