Edgy, mohawk-inspired updos are making a big statement in 2016, especially on the red carpet. From Priyanka Chopra's mohawk-meets-braided-French-twist by Celebrity Stylist Castillo at the People's Choice Awards to Jessica Hart's "mohawk maiden" look with a long braid down the back, as described by Celebrity Stylist Remington Schulz at the Met Gala, updos with bold braids and height are hot. NYC Hair Artist Kat Zemtsova designed a collection around the trend, creating sculptural, textured styles that are feminine and strong. Alana Tyler Slutsky, New York City based beauty photographer, shot the looks in black and white and sharp, high definition, emphasizing the power attitude and artistic detail of the styles.

So with protection and hair health being the two key benefits of the additive, she was all in.
