It’s estimated that one person dies from melanoma every hour. According to the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer, and skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States.

Taking the theme “Looking Good in 2016,” AAD encourages all of us to protect our skin from the sun’s ultraviolet rays and frequently check our bodies for signs of skin cancer. Toward that goal, AAD has posted a cute YouTube video, “Who’s Got Your Back?” It's targeted to men, since they're less likely than women to pay attention to these things, but it's really for all of us.
