Makeover: Going Hot Copper

Maggie Mulhern | July 11, 2016 | 6:08 AM

Kayla Zajes (@shinehairartistry) of Soho Master Hair Stylists in Edmonton, AB, shares the details for her wonderful makeover:

"My hair was dark blue and I used Malibu DDL and 20 volume for 45 minutes on my hair to remove the color. I was left with a light powder blue undertone. I glazed it over with a light pink. A couple weeks later after the pink and blue had faded a bit, I  shampooed with Evo Prime shampoo then used 40g Fabuloso orange concentrate on dampened hair from roots to ends for 10 minutes. After rinsing and towel drying, I still had some blue to cancel out so I used 40g of Fabuloso copper color conditioner working from ends to roots. After processing for 15 minutes this is the result."
