While attending a session at the Moroccanoil Academy in NYC, Beauty and Fashion Director Maggie Mulhern interviews Master Stylist Sharon Blaine as she demonstrates a "clipless" fingerwave.
"First, we created a classic look, then we showed the students how to pull it out to make it look more editorial," she says.
In the look, Blaine sews through the wave movements using fine thread and a needle—this allows the wave to expand.
