Silver Goodness After Removing Violet

Anne Moratto | September 25, 2016 | 2:32 PM

"Silver goodness," says Rachel Willis (@rw_hair), a hairdresser in Perth, Australia, needed to removed some stubborn color before transforming her client to this shining, bright tone. "Oplaplex had my back when we needed to remove some old violet."

Roots:  2/3 7.2 + 1/3 5.11 + semi activator

Mids:  7.2 + 9.1 + 10.7 + semi activator.

Ends: lightener + 35 vol alternating high and low bleach application (some parts dragging the mid semi down lower to create dimension)

Toner: Fanola USA 10.11 + 1.5" of 6.2 and a spot of Violet & blue + 3.5vol.

"So even, silky and healthy."

MAKEOVER: Three Sessions Of Beauty

Maggie Mulhern | March 2, 2017

Jenn Malone (@jmalonehair) at Agence Salon, San Dimas, California, says her client "had 85% virgin hair. Her goal is to be a 'rooty' platinum blonde while still keeping the 'lived in' look. My main goal was to get her to her desired color, while still maintaining the integrity of her hair. Patience is the key in achieving this!" How to here.
