Maggie Mulhern | October 5, 2016 | 7:33 PM

Laura Griepentrog (@TeaseSalonOC) of Tease Salon, Costa Mesa, California, got a chance to exercise her color and extension talents for this first time client. Here she shares the details:

Step 1: Weave babylights and some backcombed highlights throughout using Goldwell Silk Lift lightener with 20 volume and Olaplex.

Step 2: Add lowlights (to break up the existing blonde) using Redken 7n with a little 7gg.

Step 3: Tone the base with Redken Shades EQ 6NB and a little 6G. Tone the mids with 7NB and 7G. Tone the ends with 9NB and a little 9G and 9P.

Step 4: Add 3 rows of D-lux machine weft hair extensions from YourHairShop.com
