Makeover: Upgrading in the Purple World

Amber Mahaffey (@coloroutsidethelineshs), Surfside Beach, SC, shares the details for this lovely upgrade:

Step 1: Blend Redken equal parts 30 vol 20 volume proxide with Flashlift. Foil very heavy at new growth. Process 15 minutes (7 with heat).

Step 2: Rinse, shampoo vigorously with Pureology Purify. Process with heat for five minutes. Rinse and apply a hydrating mask. 

Step 3: Shampoo with Pravana Purple Shampoo at the root for two minutes. Dry thoroughly.

Step 4: Apply Kenra Creatives 2oz violet, 1oz magenta, and two 2-inch ribbons Blue at the new growth.

Step 5: Apply Kenra Neons Fuschia, Blue, and Creatives Blue. Melt down from root using color melting technique. Process according to the manufacturers instructons.
