HOW-TO: Chocolate Brunette with Balayage Highlights

THE VISION: To enhance the depth of a chocolate brunette, create natural-looking balayage highlights, lift the base for shine and add caramel-toffee tones.

FORMULAS/APPLICATION

Formula 1: 40 g CHROMA 6GV with 60 g 10-volume developer

Formula 2: 30 g Blue LIGHTENER with 60g 20-volume developer

Formula 3: 30 g TONES 7GV with 60 g 7-volume activator

STEP 1: Apply Aloxxi ColourPrime Pre-Color Treatment.

STEP 2: Starting in the back perimeter, take horizontal sections and apply Formulas 1 and 2 randomly, using a balayage technique. Work up, then continue through sides and top. Process until hair reaches the yellow stage, then rinse thoroughly and apply ColourLock Post-Color Finisher.

STEP 3: Apply Formula 3 to all the hair. Process 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and apply ColourLock Post-Color Finisher.
