The New Yorker Cover Tells the Truth About Oscar Preparation

The NEW YORKER magazine nails it with their most recent cover by artist Barry Blitt, spoofing the golden, gleaming OSCAR statuette and all the 'work' that went into getting it looking so award-winning!

Entitled "Ready for His Closeup," OSCAR has gone under the knife for a brow lift, implants, collagen (lots), lipo,  cellulite reduction, and tons of tucks.  Non-invasive mani and pedi are also listed on the call-outs of the beauty prep OSCAR has undergone.  And he looks fabulous!

Join our MODERN SALON Twitter Chat on Sunday night as we rate the Red Carpet hair, makeup, styling, grooming and overall glam!  #ModOscars
