Quick Tip: Our Favorite New Insta-Feature

As I’ve pointed out in the past (and let’s be honest, it’s pretty hard to miss – check out my Quick Tips to Maximize Your Brand on Instagram), here at Evoke Brands we’re obsessed with Instagram. And when I say obsessed, I mean we eat, sleep and breathe it! *hint – @EvokeBrands - hint* So you can imagine the excitement in the air at the office when Instagram comes out with a new feature that makes our lives easier. We just can’t help but share what we love about it – and also how awesome of a tool it is for businesses and salons to amp up their social game.


What’s the feature?

It’s what I like to call the InstaFollow. You now have the ability to follow people who have followed your account directly from your account’s notification center.




Why are we excited about it?

It’s new! Previously, you would have had to click on your new follower’s profile, see if you’re following them, and then follow them back if you’re not already. With InstaFollow, you can immediately see if you’re already following the user and if not, one click and you’re done! No more jumping from page to page! This feature is a major time-saver to help you engage with those fans that are interested in your brand.


How is it helpful to your brand?

It’s a real-time, one on one conversation. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the most important part of your social brand is keeping up to date and engaged with your followers. The faster you can respond and converse with those who express interest, the better your relationship – and the stronger your brand loyalty connection!
