The Kenra crew recently landed in Venice, CA to collaborate on their latest photo shoot to accompany their "Sunrise/Sunset" collection of hair cuts, color and styling. The Kenra collections offer easily replicated color placement techniques in five steps or less. The spring/summer images of "Sunrise" debuted earlier this year and the Venice shoot was for the fall/winter "Sunset" shades and styles. The inspiration is the closing of the day and the reflection of light as seen sparkling on the desert sands. Kenra is introducing three new looks--Fiery Sunset, Sienna Sunset and Smokey Sunset.
Robb Dubré, Kenra Professional Artistic Director, described the looks and color as "strong diffusion and subtle delineation of light."
"In the fall and winter, browns can be more brazen," said Dubre. "but the hairdressser can have maximum impact with minimal foiling. We're also introducing two new texture products--a Dry Texture Spray and a Texture Mist--and our finished styles range from short to long on a range of textures."
Kenra VP Jen Norman Zygmunt shared that the wardrobe and makeup would complement the color by emphasizing "lot of metallics and shine."
