Want to boost your retail? Justin DePasquale of DePasquale The Spa in Morris Plains, NJ, has retail nailed. The 1,500-square-foot retail boutique near reception contains fashion, accessories and gifts in addition to more traditional salon and spa offerings. There are pockets of retail throughout the salon and spa that encourage purchase decisions. According to DePasquale, a client rarely leaves without a boutique item.

The DePasquale team loves retail so much they actually devote events to celebrate shopping. Justin DePasquale has begun a program inviting up-and-coming designers to introduce their fashions to the public in the area connecting the salon to the spa. It's in the path of just about everyone who stops in DePasquale.

MODERN stopped by on Mother's Day weekend to the annual Shopping Soiree to get a retail overview from DePasquale and to meet designer Maggie Tookmanian, who was showcasing her latest designs to the guests.

Take this mini tour of the shopping area at DePasquale and learn more about Tookmanian's Gerard line.
