HOW TO Create Column Waves, The Perfect Texture

Pepper Pastor, at a recent photo shoot for L'Oreal Professionnel, created an elegant finish for her model. The long, large waves were placed horizontally and looked fresh and modern.

"I call these Column Waves," she says. "The rod of the curling iron is placed in the exact same position all throughout. It is highbrow, chic and makes it look expense."

Pastor sets the hair with an iron and then sprays the hair with Infinium 3 horizontally in the recession. While the hair is still slightly damp from the spray, she presses the can in the recessed area to "set" the wave.

"I call it a double set," she says. "It is a perfect technique and so on trend today."
