The 2014 Goldwell Color Zoom Challenge US Finalists have been announced. The finalists were selected from hundreds of entries in three categories, inspired by the 2014 theme of “Reallusion”, color optical illusions.

The 2014 U.S. Finalists are:

-Creative Colorist Vivian Polimeni of Hair by Scott & Co, Florida

-New Talent Colorist Katie Minalga of Theory Hair Salon, Montana

-Partner Colorist Daniel Rubin of Trio Salon, Illinois

These three National Finalist winners will compete live on behalf of the United States in the 2014 Color Zoom International Competition. This hands-on color competition will take place in Berlin in October 2014, giving contestants the opportunity to prove their creativity against other finalists from around the world to earn the ultimate Global title.

The Goldwell Hair Care team also wants to acknowledge the runners up in each category. This year’s Silver Finalists include: Lauren Kocman (Creative) of Hair by Scott & Co, Florida; Jacob Khan (New Talent) of Shearious Salon, Georgia; and Holly King (Partner) of Theory Salon, Montana. Bronze Finalists awards go to Colette Jones (Creative) of GiddyUp Salon & Spa, Washington; Johnny Kelly (New Talent) of Sivana Salon, New York; and Lee Bryan Trevino (Partner) of Cortello Salon, Florida.
