On October 23, 2016 at the InterContinental Hotel in Dallas, Texas, stylists, technicians, cosmetology students and beauty enthusiasts will come together to celebrate TONI&GUYs annual collection at the Creative Release. After live runway presentations, Creative Director of the Americas Zak Mascolo and the TONI&GUY National Art Team will take the stage to demonstrate the cut and color techniques utilized throughout their collection.

The celebration continues after the Creative Release at the Photographic Awards, where stylists, students and alumni will participate in an awards ceremony, in which categories range from best Student Cut to Hairdresser of the Year.

This year marks important milestones for Creative Release; for the first time in history the event will be open to the public and TONI&GUY will introduce two collections, rather than one marking a new era while celebrating the brand’s historic roots in hairdressing education.

Developed exclusively by Zak Mascolo, one of these collections will break the mold in technique and offer diverse cutting methods for stylists and students across the globe.

The first collection, Euphoria, is a series of five advanced cut and color techniques. Disrupting more than 50 years of utilizing scissor over comb only cutting techniques, the Alter Ego collection pushes the boundaries with the introduction of five men’s clipper cuts for the first time in TONI&GUY history.

Creative Release delivers an annual experience for the hairdressing elite, cosmetology students, business owners, influencers and beauty enthusiasts.

The event includes a collection release, runway show, live cutting and coloring demos, red carpet awards show, VIP lounge, interactive experiences, deep discounts on products and tools, a glamorous after-party and an optional day of hands-on advanced hairdressing classes.
