Get back to basics for the fall with a L’Oréal Professionnel foil technique and a gloss.

FORMULA & APPLICATION

Natural level 7

Formula 1: 1 oz L’Oréal Professionnel Blond Studio Multi-Techniques Powder with 1 oz 40-volume L’Oréal Professionnel Majicreme Developer + Smartbond

Formula 2: L’Oréal Professionnel DIA Light 10.21 + 6-volume DIA Developer, in a 1:1.5 ratio + Smartbond

1. Separate hair into quadrants. In the back sections, work left to right, starting at the top of the occipital bone. Apply Formula 1 to horizontal, extra-fine slices. Gently backcomb each slice before applying the lightener to create diffusion.

2. Create the highlights in a bricklay pattern as you work up to using radial partings. Isolate them with a double-fold foil method. Process to the desired degree of lightness, then remove.

3. Depending on hair’s length and density, apply 4 to 8 pumps of L’Oréal Professionnel Smartbond Step 2 Pre Shampoo and work in from base to ends. Leave on for 10 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly and shampoo once with L’Oréal Professionnel Vitamino Color AOX Shampoo. Condition hair and lock-in color with L’Oréal Professionnel Powerdose Color AOX.

4. Now, at the sink, divide towel-dried hair into quadrants. Apply Formula 2 as a global application from regrowth to ends, using an applicator bottle. Process from 2 to 30 minutes based on desired results. Rinse until water runs clear.
