Aquage Master Hair Artist, Donna Hamilton, captured the True Nature of YI, a Chinese word that reveres the essence of art, skill and craftsmanship with these otherworldly hair sculptures. Constructed with hair mesh formed with Aquage Working & Finishing Sprays, the fibrous fabric becomes a vehicle for bold, artistic expression.

Hamilton hopes this YI series will inspire other artists to give themselves a gift this holiday season. What's the ultimate gift for a hairdresser? Creative freedom!

An artist herself, Hamilton knows that much of our time as hairdresers is spent helping customers look their best and express their aesthetic identity. While this can be rewarding, she believes we owe it to ourselves to cultivate creative, avant garde projects where we can push ourselves to expand and grow.
