Tampa-based colorist Vanessa (@Vanessa.At.LegaciesHairStudio) says her client wanted her hair color to stay dark, but wanted it healthier, stronger and shinier.

"I met with her for a consultation and I could tell right away she was needing more moisture, a fresh color and an Olaplex treatment. After all was agreed upon, she booked her appointment immediately."

Vanessa shares the details for this two session makeover:

Session 1:

-Relax hair.
-Apply protein treatment.
-Trim hair.

Session 2 (2 weeks later):

-Color hair using Kenra Demi Color 1A with Olaplex #1. Process for 25 minutes. Rinse and towel blot.
-Glaze with Kenra Color Creatives in Blue for 25 minutes. Rinse.
-Apply Olaplex #2 for 30 minutes. Shampoo and condition (using Kenra Color Maintenance).
-Blowdry and iron with Kenra Blowdry Spray and Silkening Gloss.
