Sami Schneider (@samihairmagic) of House Of Color, Colorado Springs, CO, shares the details for this lovely makeover:

"My client wanted a rose gold/blonde/lavender color. She was starting with a natural level 7 root with a remaining level 8/9 balayage."

Formulas: Joico Vero 10A with Violet booster, Joico Lilac Intensity and Rose Intensity, and Kenra 9BRM + 8BRM (2:1) + 5VR (1 inch) and a dot of Violet booster.

Brazilian Bond Builder added to all formulas.

Breakdown: "I decided to leave her natural root for a less maintenance look. The 4 formulas were applied in a balayage technique until I hit her natural root - hitting previously lightened pieces.

Color applied in 4 sections. 2 in the front, 2 in the back. All 4 formulas rotated in medium/large diagonal sections.

Process time: 30 minutes

Total time: 2 hours

Styled using Bio Ionic Ceramic Straightener.

MAKEOVER: Three Sessions Of Beauty

Jenn Malone (@jmalonehair) at Agence Salon, San Dimas, California, says her client "had 85% virgin hair. Her goal is to be a 'rooty' platinum blonde while still keeping the 'lived in' look. My main goal was to get her to her desired color, while still maintaining the integrity of her hair. Patience is the key in achieving this!" How to here.
