Sami Schneider (@samihairmagic) of House Of Color, Colorado Springs, CO, shares the details for this lovely makeover:

"My client wanted a rose gold/blonde/lavender color. She was starting with a natural level 7 root with a remaining level 8/9 balayage."

Formulas: Joico Vero 10A with Violet booster, Joico Lilac Intensity and Rose Intensity, and Kenra 9BRM + 8BRM (2:1) + 5VR (1 inch) and a dot of Violet booster.

Brazilian Bond Builder added to all formulas.

Breakdown: "I decided to leave her natural root for a less maintenance look. The 4 formulas were applied in a balayage technique until I hit her natural root - hitting previously lightened pieces.

Color applied in 4 sections. 2 in the front, 2 in the back. All 4 formulas rotated in medium/large diagonal sections.

Process time: 30 minutes

Total time: 2 hours

Styled using Bio Ionic Ceramic Straightener.

Amy McManus (@Camouflageandbalayage) says “My guest has been a client of mine for 5 years and we've been doing her hair close to the natural strawberry blonde she had as a teenager. She got excited after seeing her hair get featured on Modern Salon's Instagram and decided that she was going to let me play a bit." Here McManus shares the details for this enhancement:

Rikki Dimitriadis of Glaze Hair Studio, a Paul Mitchell focus salon located right near the Fire Island Ferry on Long Island, NY, says "This young lady came in with hair that has been previously lightened at home. As you can see, she has a band of orange throughout her hair, spots, dead ends. She is a natural level 5." Here Dimitriadis shares the details for the transformation:
