CORRECTION: Brassy To Rooty Blonde Melt

Maggie Mulhern | January 8, 2017 | 7:53 PM

Jackie Priore (@countjackula_hair) of Public Salon and Shoppe, Arlington Heights, IL., says this first time client was looking for something lighter and brighter.

Here Priore shares the details for this correction:

Step 1: Section hair into quadrants. Balayage using Sunlights lightener with .06 oz Schwarzkopf BLONDME lightener and 1.6 oz BLONDME 40 volume developer, focusing on her outgrowth area "because her ends were already very light and compromised."

Step 2: Process for 50 minutes.

Step 3: Tone at the bowl using Redken Shades EQ: 1oz 9V + 1oz 9P + Splash of 6T  with equal parts processing lotion.

MAKEOVER: Three Sessions Of Beauty

Maggie Mulhern | March 2, 2017

Jenn Malone (@jmalonehair) at Agence Salon, San Dimas, California, says her client "had 85% virgin hair. Her goal is to be a 'rooty' platinum blonde while still keeping the 'lived in' look. My main goal was to get her to her desired color, while still maintaining the integrity of her hair. Patience is the key in achieving this!" How to here.
