This client who was a natural level 4 wanted to turn her brassy hair into an ashy blonde. "My client's hair pulls really brassy," says Chrissy Rasmussen (@hairby_chrissy) of @habitsalon Gilbert, Arizona. "I rarely bump people's bases because it causes so much of a more gold tint. She didn't want any of her natural left so we had a lot of work to do."

Here, she shares the details for this transformation:

Step 1: Apply babylights using Goldwell Oxycur Platin with 20 volume, blended with Olaplex.

Step 2: Go in-between foils and paint on the base Goldwell 30ml 20 vol , 30ml 8n , 15ml 8a, 15ml 8sb.

Step 3: To brighten up the ends, paint on Goldwell 20 volume Oxycur and Olaplex. Lift hair to desired level. Towel dry.

Step 4: Tone at bowl. Apply Goldwell Colorance 7N to the new growth. Process for 5 minutes and then apply Colorance 10P on the rest of the hair. Process according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 5: Apply Habit Hand Tied Extensions for additional volume and length.
