“This guest was a new client referred to me by a few of her friends,” says Kim Bruce (@themisfitblonde) co-owner of Monroe on Mane (@monroeonmane), Sturbridge MA. The blonde specialist adds that her natural client is a natural level 8 with old highlights on the ends.
Here she shares the details for this highlight update and tone conversion:
Step 1: Apply a full foil of babylights using Matrix Lightmaster starting with 20v, mixed with Olaplex #1, and finishing with 30v, mixed with Olaplex #1.
Step 2: While processing, go in and end light (paint in foils) every couple sections using Matrix 40v, mixed with Olaplex #1. At the end of this step, process for 10 minutes. Apply Olaplex #2 for 15 minutes. Shampoo with Pravana Perfect Blonde shampoo.
Step 3: Tone with Goldwell 10p for 3 minutes.
Step 4: Finish with Aquage Thickening Spray Gel and CHI Silk Infusion. Blow dry using the BioIonic 10x, Olivia Garden round brush and style with a BabylissPRO 1 inch curling iron.
