Liz Cordis (@Liz.Colors) of Salon Blonde, Davis CA says "This fun purple balayage transformation was on a new client, just 9 years old. Her before photo was an at home attempt at a purple ombré/balayage."

Here Cordis shares how she corrected, using the pro-touch:

Step 1: Balayage using Schwarzkopf Blondme with Brazilian Bond Builder added in 7vol/moving to 20vol for the front (+using foil to lift as much as possible). Rinse each section after processing. Shampoo and dry the hair.

Step 2: Prepare the purple shades, using four different Pulp Riot colors with Brazilian bond builder added into each one.

Formula #1- 3pts velvet, 1pt jam, a few drops of nightfall

Formula #2- 3pts jam, 1pt cupid, a few drops of velvet

Formula #3- lilac w/ a few drops of velvet

Formula #4- blush w/ a few drops of jam

Step 3: Apply formulas using formula #1 mainly on the roots through mids. Formula #2 is applied from the mids + the ends, while alternating painting the ends with formulas 2, 3 and 4 to create as much dimension as possible.

Step 4: Process for 30 minutes. Rinse well with cold water, condition, then style.
