"This new client came to me with grown out roots about level 2 Asian hair with random pieces of level 8 lowlights," says Khloe Nguyen (@glamdoll1) of Orange County, California. "She previously had grey hair and hadn't had her hair done for a little over a year. Her goal was to become white silver grey."
Nguyen shares the details for this 6 hour makeover:
Step 1: Foilage/balayage using Wella Blondor with 30 volume on the new growth only.
Step 2: Pick out the lowlights and feather with 20 volume and Olaplex. Move to 35 volume and 40 volume as you approach the front.
Step 3: Process for 30 minutes and then go back in with Blondor and 20 volume (with Olaplex) on the blonde hair. Lift to level 9/10 and rinse.
Step 4: Apply Olaplex step 2 for 15 minutes, then pre-tone with No Yellow shampoo for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Tone using all Fanola:
Formula A to the roots: 50g 8.11 and 15Argento +3.5 vol
Formula B to the mids and ends: 30g 10.1 +20g 11.2 +15g argento + 3.5 vol
Step 6: Process for 20 minutes and then rinse and style with Kenra styling products.
