"This guest has been a client for a couple years now," says Kim Bruce (@themisfitblonde), co-owner of Monroe on Mane (@monroeonmane)  in Sturbridge MA. "She went away for college and got her hair done. She wasn't light enough so when she got back home we lightened her up!"
Here Bruce, a blonde specialist, shares the details for this makeover on her client who is a natural level 5 with brassy level 7 ends from a previous balayage:
Step 1: Apply a full head of back to back foil/teased "endlights" (take a section, like you would a foil, tease it then weave it and paint the ends in a foil). Color used: Matrix Light Master, starting with 10 volume, building to 40 volume. Olaplex added to the formula.
Step 2: Go back every few sections and tease and weave the hair that was left out (from the previous tease and weave) and paint the ends in foil using Matrix Light Master with 40 volume.
Step 3: Process for 15 minutes. Rinse and apply Olaplex #2 for 15 minutes.
Step 4: Tone with Oligo blue shampoo and conditioner.
Step 5: Trim ends and style with AG Fast Food and CHI Silk Infusion. Blow dry with the Bio Ionic 10x and Olivia Garden round brush, and style using BabylissPRO 1 1/4 inch curling iron.
