Armond Akhverdyan (@Scissorgenius) of Atelier Sav, Glendale, California, said his client was in need of a correction. "She had colored it black once before and this was the second session."

Challenges: "It took a lot of patience to get her this light because of all the brass and orange in the previously lightened hair. Her ends were a little damaged but I used the Formula 18 Oil to make sure there was no further damage."

Step 1: Begin at the back taking very fine sections. From mid shaft to ends apply Wella lightener with 20 volume. Up the volume tp 25 at the sides. At the roots go to 30 volume. Lift to pale yellow.

Step 2: Tone using Wella T18, a very light ash blonde, with zero lift developer.

Step 3: Process for 45 minutes and shampoo with a purple shampoo.
