Schwarzkopf Professional relaunched its BlondMe line in style with a party with Paramount Beauty at Arena NYC on June 12. BlondMe Global Ambassador Kim Vo (@mrkimvo) was onstage with guest artists Linh Phan (@bescene) and Mustafa Avci (@mustafaavci) to show the versatility of the line and deliver one message: Blonde is for everyone.

“The one really important thing for us is just to share that anyone can be blonde,” said Linda Gilbride, Henkel Beauty Care director of educational and professional partner services. “As a manufacturer, that’s a really important message to share with our stylists and our fans.”

The event was sold out with almost 250 attendees at the Midtown venue near Times Square. Vo, Phan and Avci presented five pre-done models along with three quick technicals Vo called “edu-tainment” on stage.

“BlondMe isn’t just for blondes,” Vo said. “This is a completely new line with bond technology infused into it.”

Vo noted that high-lift services are challenging and can be very damaging, but the bond technology helps artists like Phan, who works with a lot of dark-haired clients, create lighter color without compromising the integrity of his clients’ hair.

“The new BlondMe helps me get them lighter without breakage,” Phan said. He added that being onstage with so many people who know him but that he hasn’t met because of his vast Instagram following is “very humbling.” For more information visit schwarzkopf-professionalusa.com.
