Hair: Hollianne Ames, with assistance from Brittany Jones
Make-up: Hollianne Ames
Photography: Ken Ames
Model: Brenna Sautter

MODERN Facebook fan Hollianne Ames created this Marie Antoinette-inspired photoshoot at her Revolution A Hair Movement salon in New Jersey.

"The model has fantastic curly-thick texture on her own but I made it more awesome by cutting the tip off of a floral cone and putting it right on top of her head," Ames says. "I took her hair and wrapped it around and used hair pins to secure it in place. When she came in her curls were a little frizzy so I left out a perimeter section and used Paul Mitchell gloss drops and Extra body finishing spray. Then, I wrapped it around the outside of a tiny barrel iron." Next, she pulled up and secured it with hair pins.

"Her skin is beautiful so I added a white powder to pale her out just a little bit, some bright blush and red lips," she says.

Her color formula is Paul Mitchell's 40-vol Synchrolift lightener on-scalp, and she is toned with equal parts 9nb and 9v PM Shines.
