UPDO HOW TO: Twirled, Swirled, Braided and Pinned

Alison Alhamed | October 31, 2012 | 9:29 AM

MODERN Facebook fan Jen Tinnon, a stylist at Seville Salon in Montgomery, Alabama, graduated cosmetology school in September 2012, but has ALWAYS had an interest in color and updos.

When Tinnon created this vintage-inspired updo and shared the pretty results with us, we knew we had to share it with you!

Here's how she did it:

Begin with a low side pony, leaving out two-inch sections around her face.

Next, curl the ponytail, pincurling and pinning it into place. Then, use some of the hair previously isolated and braid them and connect them to the "bun."
