“I started by applying Couture Color Pequi Oil to her damp hair and rough-dried it. The oil is amazing for many reasons. It not only adds shine and smoothness to the hair but it changes the overall texture and condition of the hair, as well as protects it from heat damage.
“I then added a natural looking wave with my flat iron. After that I gently teased the crown with a Mason Pearson brush for some height, then pulled the hair back and twisted it into an effortless looking, textured modern French twist. I let some pieces fall out around the face for a softer look then sprayed all over with Elnett hairspray to hold through the night.”
