Rusk is helping salons affected by Super Storm Sandy through generous product donations. Located in Connecticut, the company saw many of its neighboring East Coast salon customers suffer damage from this deadly storm, and decided to do something about it.

On December 20 and 21, Rusk employees visited 25 of the hardest hit salons on Long island bearing more than $35,000 in Rusk professional products along with a dose of holiday cheer.

Each salon is receiving multiple units of Rusk Designer Collection W8less Strong Hold Shaping and Control Hairspray, Rusk W8less Plus Extra Strong Hold Shaping and Control Hairspray, Rusk Designer Collection W8less Multi 12 in 1 Miracle Leave-in Treatment and Rusk hair dryers.

“We are all aware of the tragic impact that Hurricane Sandy has had on our area,” said Rusk Vice President of Marketing and Education Heather Simmons. “We hope our gesture of support can make a long-lasting impact on these salons’ recovery process.” Visit
