Farouk Systems announced beauty industry veteran, Andre Chiavelli, has been named executive vice president of global corporate strategy.

Chiavelli will be responsible for building sales and profitability by developing and executing domestic and international strategic plans that will support the company’s sales, marketing, education, events, and public relations initiatives.  He will directly report to Basim Shami, CEO of Farouk Systems, Inc.

“Andre brings the energy, passion and experience to Farouk Systems that will take us to the next level.  He shares the same love for hairdressers that our company was built around and we look forward to expanding our professional programs to further support our valued stylists,” said Basim Shami.

Chiavelli joins Farouk from Emiliani Enterprises, where he served as the Executive Vice President of Sales, Corporate Strategy, Education and Shows for 12 years. Among his accomplishments was the establishing of award-winning shows including The Fourth Dimension, Runway V, and the U.S. Vidal Sassoon Tribute.

“Farouk Systems is the place for me because we share the same passion for the hairdresser and dedication to the industry,” said Chiavelli. “Hairdressers are the best artists in the world.  They can go on stage in front of thousands of people and create original works of art with their hands, right in front of you!  They are true artists.”  Visit
