Sam Villa shows HOW TO Create "Bubbles" and a Waterfall Braid

BUBBLES, created by Sam Villa (and shown on Page 95 of Modern's January, 2013 issue) has created such a buzz that we've decided to revive this behind the scenes video of the HOW TO. Although Villa makes it look effortless and easy, the stylists in attendance at ARTIST SESSION (where this demo took place) were eager to practice this timeless silhouette on their own models.

Villa suggests that the finish looks best when first texturized (using his amazing Textur Iron) and  then brushed through. "The closer the elastics, the smaller the bubble," he says, "and the farther apart the elastics, the larger the bubble."

In this video, (just about 2 1/2 minutes), Villa demos HOW TO create Bubbles and offers an alternate version of the Bubble finish...and just in case you missed it when it first ran, we are running Villa's HOW TO create a WATERFALL BRAID (less than 2 minutes).
